You have to say we were in for Pedro, Ekitike, Sesko as there were well publicised bids. But I rate Woltemade as the best of the lot - I think we didn't feel we had a chance with Bayern sniffing but when they wouldn't pay up we approached quickly and it seems a great match. We got what we deserved in the end.

 

Odd that Bayern pulled out but now seem to be in for Jackson instead. Unless they can only afford a loan deal for this season and Stuttgart only wanted a transfer fee. But hopefully our gain.
