That’ll be some of the “famous” scouse humour we’ve heard much about….

You don't know how to put a bid in. You seem to have to be invited. You're so **** scared of Nufc that's why you try to keep us on a leash. Once we break free we will bite real hard.

So as I see it, Woltemade is a direct Isak replacement in style. What we lack is a hold up striker, a punt it long type. Wilson was ok at this but not great - so what we want is someone who is much better. Thats where JSL comes in. We then have the contribution of 2x£60m players vs £120m from Isak alone. It’s a moneyball approach and makes a lot of sense. If we add midfield goals then we are golden. Lopez would be nuts.

Well I guess that'll be it:

Liverpool are expected to make an improved £130m offer for Newcastle's Sweden striker Alexander Isak, 25, with add-ons and bonuses making it a British transfer record. (Telegraph - subscription required, external)

When we signed Isak neutrals thought we spent too much on someone who was mediocre at best with Sociedad.

Turned into one of our best signings tbh and now could be sold for a British record.

Good business. Shame how it ended though, with him being a ****cunt

£130m would do me - that’s £70m profit. Extrapolated over a five year contracts that’s £350m spend potential just from profit made off Isak.
