Completely the same arrangement, but Joe didn't have quite so many friends helping him as Marcus did.
Came across this today....someone covering Car Seat Headrest....got a very Will Toledo sounding voice
I loved this band, and this album. They lasted ten years, must've seen them at least once a year, so good live
Jnr away on a lads holiday to Tenerife - Veronicas watch out... Wifey away on a lasses weekend... I've got the windows open, beer on the go, the stereo turned up to eleven, and dredging thru my vinyl - bliss
This album gets nowhere near the praise it should because it came out during Covid, some absolute bangers on it....we all sat around the living room during Lockdown and listened to this on the day it was released, one of my favourite Lockdown memories!
My fave off the album, and one of my favourites of theirs but they never play it live now which is a gutter.... Lyrics as relevant now under a Labour administration as it was under the Tories - all ****s
Maybe time for a bit of medicine.... These need to be seen live to fully appreciate how ****ing crazy they are on stage!
Also found this rarity....very, very early Happy Mondays 12"...bought this in a record shop in Afflecks Palace in Manchester, which was run by Graham Massey of 808 State before any of them were big...bought some great clobber too, big baggy flares and some Ian Brown styled shirts - looked a right ****, but thought I was cool as **** And this too...
