Iv'e tried to keep posting hoping people will respond, but apart from a couple of posters, zilch.

Time to call an end to Not 606 I think , which is a pity, as the others are aggressive and combative.
Nevertheless when the input of posters is so minimal. there seems little point carrying on.
    Prove me wrong.

I know, it sucks, we used to have a dozen regular posters at one point, then about 6 or 7 year ago, it just died and there was a mass exodus! :(

I think a few went missing during the pandemic.
People like King went early though but never really knowing peoples age/health on here it could have been for a similar reason.

What to make of that game?
2-0 is too kind to us. Fulham were more direct and dangerous for some time until we eventually took control. VAR was just dreadful ruling out their “goal” the bloke was in mid air with his back to Trevoh, who was the only one attempting a tackle, and he landed on his foot cause he can’t fly !!!!
    Penalty was straight forward correct.
We looked lethargic and half a yard too slow all game. The Club World Cup is now causing those injuries we predicted, 2 down so far.
Jackson as striker again ?? More trouble ahead?? Take the points though, we will need them.

Good 3 points. Very lucky that Fulham didn't get that first goal. VaR having a shocker for it. As you say their guy had control of the ball and chalobah goes in for the challenge

Thought we were quite lucky for the pen. Their guy deffo hand balls it, pedro also accidently handballs it but can see why he got away with it. Might have been a bit flukey to get away with the nudge into andersons back.

Not happy with Jackson coming back. He's a good enough player for backup but he doesn't want to be here and we got a really good fee for him. He's going to be stropping around the club now.

Good that we won, not overly impressed with the VAR decision though, was pathetic, even if it was in our favour.
Delap's injury is not good, we lose him as a player and it means Jackson's loan to Bayern is down the ****ter, which sucks!
Never thought I would say this, but I am glad the international break has come. Gives Palmer and Delap more time to heal

West Ham made it easy on us last week, but that game aside we haven't looked sharp. Early days though

It IS early days, and the new players are all going pretty well. Thought Fernandez was again very poor and he just doesn’t look like the link player I think we are desperate for. He got run down twice when in the clear, and we lost 2 great attacking chances because of his lack of pace. He’s a La Liga player, not strong enough nor quick enough for the demands of the PL. Plus he offers little goal threat.
Running around a lot is not cutting it in our unbalanced midfield.
I want to see Santos start in his place, as Lavia looks a permanent sick note unfortunately. However, Fernandez seems undroppable due to his cost, surely not his form.
Cannot believe we would stop the sale of Jackson !!!. The bloke is a dope, trouble with a Capital T because of his ego and attitude. As for Delap, we should have spent the money on a proper striker not a "might be". As always, striker is yet again our second biggest problem after a creative midfielder. We NEVER learn.
Still we are going OK but always being tested by teams with pace in defence or parking the bus.
Maresca hasn't sorted either out despite a Billion + being spent. Yet the answer is simple, stop the sideways and backwards passing, and use our pace and abundance of attacking skill. We destroyed PSG doing exactly that, so what the **** is he playing at??

Jackson is not coming back we have tabled a bid for 20 yr old Danish striker Harder who currently plays for Sporting Lisbon I think, Delap is said to be out for 6 weeks so he may feature for a while.

Shame for Guiu, was hoping he would get some decent game time at Sunderland. He will be recalled and basically play in the Carabao cup now and a few PL sub appearances.
Though its good now in terms of Jackson, hopefully with Guiu as back up the club will allow him to go to Bayern.

He only played the one game for us and that was in the cup against Huddersfield. He scored. Didnt really impress though, his touch and movement looked well off. Could just be rusty like cos he won’t have played since June.

Recalling Guiu seems like a bit of a panic move. He's further behind in his development than Delap, and would look to be better off at Sunderland.Hope he gets to prove himself with us, but the mess around strikers just won't go away. Seems it is a cursed position at Chelsea !!
