I am confused we send a 27 year old goalkeeper out on loan, then bring a 30 year old who last played for Morecambe in

Dodds, (or whoever does the signings) seems intent on replacing every player that Gaz and Blooms signed. I’ve never seen us have such an overhaul before. It’s surely going to take ages for all these players to gel, complete new midfield, goalie, centre backs. If Kone goes as well the entire spine of the team has vanished.

Yes it's a major gamble but looking at the squad without those signings, we weren't going anywhere this year. Let's hope they are shrewd signings and give us a chance of promotion. There were signs of them beginning to gel against spurs. That second goal went from GK to the back of the net (6 Wycombe players involved) without a Spurs player getting a touch. Good stuff

We used to say hope we finish above the relegation places, then it moved to to expecting a top ten finish, now I think a minimum is a play-off place. With the money spent, also all of the pre season reports I have seen nobody mentions us at all

The ones who don't play get a bird for the night. Could be a few "injuries" in training

Dodds called him a slow burner when they signed him in January, he's very slow played all of 34mins, that's one January signing gone.

Probably an attitude problem. I was warned when we got him about that by a forum mate on the horse racing board who is a dedicated Chesterfield supporter

It seems we refused that because it was Luton who bid for him and Rice seems to hate Blooms i wonder if they had a real bust up before he left. <whistle>

We have signed all these players since January & start a 16 year old & bring another one on for the last 20 mins. I think most supporters realise Rice & Blooms must have had one hell of bust up for Blooms to leave after 18 years at the club & the position we were in.

I see Tafazolli has signed for Swindon, he will be good for them keeps himself fit afraid he doesn't fit in with Rice & Dodds
