hope not… no one should ever get game time guarantees besides ell hasn’t actually confirmed who he has signed for. definitely a talented lad - still young and not really made an impact at senior level. Guess we’re Hoping this could be the breakthrough year… so we can add £20m to the transfer value for Brighton. Would have preferred el Khanouss on a perm personally but hey we’re at ‘any port in a storm’ time.
Assuming loan? Also would mean we still have 1 space in the squad so could make another signing before deadline day.
Oh the sneaky bastards. Facundo is under the age of 21. Tha'ts how they we're going to sign 2 more players when we had one spot left before we hit the 25 max number
Buonanotte was a 5m signing. Brighton nurtured him, sent him out on loan, and suddenly he's a £35m player. Had Leeds bought him, he'd be rotting on the bench...
yeh, watched that… clearly unhappy with how his departure has been handled. He was a good footballer.. his eratic finishing was frustrating as hell but it was noticeable how for most of the time he was with us, the team played better with him in it… his hold up play, movement and ability to drop deep and run channels helped get us up the pitch and stretch defences. Biggest issue was all those injuries. For all we all tore our hair out.., it’s not his fault. Players hate being injured, so in many respects it took great resolve for him to keep coming back from them. Either way, he was a big part of the regeneration of our club over the last 7 years. I wish him well.
First I’ve seen reporting on it is Ben Jacob’s, but a few on here dissed him. Not doubting you though
1 good season in 7 for Paddy. 1 okay season. Rest were pretty poor. Seems a nice lad albeit a bit of a wet lettuce and he gave us some good moments along the way. Glad he's gone though. He was one of those strikers who would score when it didnt matter and fluff his lines when it really did matter.
He led the line in our best team that won promotion with our best manager in 20 years. He had his faults but gave his all and will go down in history for Leeds alongside the likes of Phillips, Cooper, Dallas, Klich etc.
