Yeah saw in interview with him this morning and he actually said that he was disappointed that the record still stands given the advance in sports science, training methods, nutrition etc. He also went as far as saying that it wasn’t a good look for the sport.

I read that Emma has taken on the ex coach of Nadal, so it will be interesting to see if he can raise her game. Her recent match against the world number one, Sabalenka, who beat her in straight sets at Wimbledon, went to 3 sets this time and included a game that lasted 22 minutes. Emma lost 7-6,4-6,7-6 which indicates that she might be getting back to her best.
