3rd season in a row we've drawn you in a cup. ****e draw for us. This draw format of basically seeding the clubs in Europe is pathetic.
Your board is really quiet Stuck in a loop really how do you think it is going to go against Burnley I don’t see how you guys will lose but I generally don’t Your side is not poor by any stretch and neither is the gaffa Is it as simple as the system or is it running deeper
Our board is very quiet, only 3 regular posters but it has never been really active. I expect us to be a lot better this season than we have in recent times, not challengers for anything more than top 5 or 7 but better. We need keeper, any keeper that isn't Onana or Byinder. without that we will always start needing at least one goal to draw. Not sure about the system, 2 in midfield could/can work but not with an aged Casimero and a useless Ugarte. Put 3 in the midfield or get better than the two we have.
i've had many a run-in with Diego over the years, but I will say this - unlike many of the Billy Big Bollox on the UTD board (especially in the SAF era), he always comes out to play and never hides. A Clog Sparker version of Tobes, if you like.
Cuenha is mint, Mbuemo is unbelievably talented, but ffs, Prem players are middle-distance runners nowadays, and he looks like a darts player. And we'll take Mainoo if you don't want him. Your manager is obsessed with your formation - it's the Bed of Procrustes. But your players are too good for another second-half of the table finish. At least fifth, damn you.
Look utd have made their bed for this season. Everything is wrong, none of it makes any sense. But I'm looking at the transfer window chelsea just had I'm equally under whelmed. Utd have an academy produced decent youth. He wont play them The formation is wrong The captain is wrong. The wages are too high. It's a mess.
Good draw for us BTW. Any home draw is good. Southampton have had an average start to the championship so need to get going big time. They should bring some kids. We bring some kids and then just let us win anyway.
We've gone strong the first two rounds so expect we will again. Still won't be enough to beat your kids though of course.
Could have been better for us too TBF; always hope for a L2 team in this round of the draw, give us a chance to play a few youngsters. Against you lot, it'll be a squad options and a couple of first teamers
Reporter: How are you feeling after that? Grimsby Goalkeeper: Bit fuming to be honest, I am a United fan and that was shocking! Really hope that's real
It is. He said it on sky - albeit didnt say it quite like that. Was more - in a United fan so bit gutted really
I don't watch their games so I don't know but is the thing with Amorim, and the reason we didn't want him, that he's too rigid in his tactics and formation?
He is ruining them rapidly. He insists on 3 at the back but its really 5 at the back. He seems he'll bent on playing the worst two possible at cm then. So you've weakened midfield by getting a spare defender who will not mark anyone anyway and then weakened midfield again by playing the likes of casemrio and fernandes. It's madness. You bought another 3 forwards. They bought forwards and developed more forwards with the last manager and the manager before. Yet the same rubbish goes on. Get a solid 433, get rid of fernandes and maguire and keep the youths.
yeah when the club spoke to him he told them he only played a 3-4-3 formation and we thought we hadn't got the squad to play that formation and it would cost far too much to give him a squad to play that well . Things might have been better for Urd if they had done what he wanted which was to stay at Sporting till end of season and take over utd at the start of this season .
I just can't believe he turned away for the whole of the shootout. I mean I would too with Onana in goal but what kind of confidence is that supposed to inspire from a manager?
