Wow! All of a sudden we look like a good team. I am so much more optimistic for this season. We just need to sort Torres out. What do we do? Cut our losses and get rid or stick with him? What worries me is he seems like a sulky sod. Thank God for the Drog.

Don't say 'we' when you support multiple teams, if you like the whole League fine but never class yourself as one of us <ok>

It's so ****ing annoying having two world class strikers, we can't bench one of them really but we have to because we need to play mata and sturridge, in my opinion this season torres has been quality in every game his played but most people will just see no goals from torres and think ah his flopped another game, the thing is though when we play with Drog everyone else plays so much better whereas with Torres we don't seem to play as good. It's a **** situation to be in because we can't leave him on the bench every single game. One of ems going to have to go because we need 1 main striker and to be honest i wouldn't like to pick one, Drogbas ****ing mustard at the moment and don't look like his aged one bit with his recent displays but Torres is ****ing quality at the same time. If i had to pick one to save my arm being cut off i'd have to say give drog a 2 year contract, loan lukaku out in january and all of next season then on the second season rotate drog n lukaku and then by the time that 2 year contract is up lukaku will be 20 and should be ready to take over. In the meantime while drogs there for the other 2 seasons we'd need back-up so i'd promote Lalkovic or just keep Kalou just so drog gets a rest for carling cup games but if Drog signs a new deal then Torres will have to be sold at the end of the season

great post lcooper. It annoys me about Drogba. What the hell has the guy got to do? He's a freak in the nicest possible way, a goal scoring freak. Soooo underrated. We can't drop Drogba but what about Torres? Apparently we're now looking to shunt him for £20m. I have been a little bit disappointed by Torres's commitment.

I dont actually see Torres as a sulker! He's obviously diappointed in not being able to play his way into the side, but if and when he is called upon to go onto the pitch, I reckon he'll die on the hill to stay there!

I always feel he has a bit of a sulk when he's on the field and things aren't going his way. I don't know if I just notice Drogs doing it more, but I feel Torres doesn't drop back and his effort decreases without service. It always seems unless he's constantly getting the ball he's unhappy.

Just my opinion but are we not getting a bit carried away with the whole Drogba is amazing thing? I love him as much as any Chelsea fan and over the years he's been a great signing for us but apart from against citeh and Valencia he's been ****e for ages and his sending off at QPR was a fukin disgrace,we need to give Torres more of a chance as lets be honest we all thought he had turned the corner until that sending of against Swansea and since then he must of had his confidence shattered by a complete lack of confidence shown in him by AVB and stories now doing the rounds that we will sell him for £20 mill. Are we also forgetting Drogba was complete **** for his first couple of seasons and has ended up a God at the bridge, cant we give Torres the time he needs and he too could be a legend at the Bridge?

Can't see Drogba being dropped till ACN now as the team seems to be clicking a lot better than it was 5-6 games ago and he is a big part of that (ditto Romeu and Meireles).

Torres will get his chance in Jan and I pray he takes it as Drogba is clearly not the future despite his resurgent form of late.
