Ahh getting him confused with a different presenter I think. Point possibly still stands as Martin was a player at Norwich for awhile.

I met my wife 25 years ago.
But this week we decided to do something we haven’t done before.
With the kids away at a sleepover, we went for dinner at a lovely local pub and aligned on our personal and parenting goals for 2025.
It’s so easy with kids, jobs, school clubs, sports fixtures, friends and family stuff that you can fall out of alignment.
So we went for some amazing tapas and asked ourselves these 6 questions:
- Where did 2024 miss the mark for you?
- ⁠Where did you feel let down by me?
- ⁠What does a great 2025 look like?
- ⁠How can I support that?
- ⁠What are the things that currently light you up?
- ⁠What are we in the habit of still doing that no longer serves you and we should drop?
They proved to be really powerful questions, and at the end of the dinner, despite being together since 1999, there was a sense that this year will be our most exciting one yet.
As Walter Winchell so wonderfully put it:
“Never above you, never below you, always beside you.”

 

Hopefully her response to that second question was “you being a **** on social media and sticking up for Russell Martin”
