Result of the night as Pafos have reached the 36 team Champions League in their first season beating Red Star Belgrade 3-2 on aggregate with an 89th minute equaliser. The goal was worth just shy of 19 million Euros which is the qualification prize money. Having previously beaten Dynamo Kiev home and away they've come through a tough draw to reach the big time. There's every possibility they'll have at least one Premier League opponent in their 8 matches, hopefully in London...

What we’d give for a bottle of Grimsby’s spirit, pride and workrate.

Bruges tearing Rangers apart. 5-0 on the night and 8-1 on aggregate and down to 10 men. They make us look good.

There'll be a sombre atnosphere at the Old Firm at the weekend, both flopped miserably in Europe this week. Can't see Martin lasting much longer at Rangers, and Rodgers on the brink of walking out of Celtic....oh what a laugh!

The Rangers game is on RTE tele over here and the panel are saying that the Manager is done. There is no way he will be in charge for the game at the weekend. They have been worse than we were at Cov and that's saying something.

Rogers situation at Celtic is much different in that he has won plenty of things during his time. Both of them are suffering from playing in a ****e league and getting found out when they come up against decent class CL teams.

I could sympathise with Rangers being 5-0 down at half time but I won't...

Don't be surprised to see Barry Ferguson back there then - they should've stayed with him. Martin has done nothing to galvanise the players, and his style is just not suitable for the SPL...no-one is scared of them anymore, not even at Ibtox

The board at Celtic were holding out for CL qualification before spending big in the transfer market, and Rodgers has been vocal at his frustration with them holding back funds - and it's cost them. Everyone knew they needed a new centre forward, but they've kept their hands in their pockets

They only had to ask and Celar could have been theirs.

Best part is seeing that arrogant twat Ratcliffe getting the stick. Mr Ruthless could be getting a taste of his own medicine soon...
