I think we were, I remember when they won their first EPL title and people being happy for them. But I think the arrogance from their fans eroded a lot of that after a few years, coupled with how much they won from the mid 90s to 2013, I think people just got sick of them. Things like Man U fans turning up wearing Argentina shirts after Beckham got sent off for England, or "Fergie time". I think people just want to see them brought down a peg or two and have some humility.

Wonderful, fully deserved and great to witness ...

... Mrs Smug knows the Kabia family well a very tough bunch from Mansfield.

They were crazy for appointing him, he's way too rigid in his tactics and it was pretty obvious last season that his setup doesn't work in England.

Utd are reminding me of us 8 years ago, just a different scale. They can keep sacking managers but the club is rotten at the core

I have respect for them because they were the last team to earn their domination and not rely on dodgy owners and/or unlimited funds.

I always thought it was Roger Thames commentating on a lunchtime kick off, must have misremembered it. Mind you, it was only 5 minutes long so easy done! I remember watching it and saying to my brother it was ridiculous and should get stopped after about 90 seconds. I was only about 3 minutes out! And I still say that this was one of the best performances we had under Buxton :emoticon-0105-wink:

These seeded draws are absolutely ridiculous following on from the north/south split in the early rounds. Don’t understand the logic of the seedlings at all, they already get a by in the first 2 rounds and pretty much get a third now.

It’s embarrassing mate. Mags only need to beat Bradford to be in the last 16 <doh> They’ll fancy another final appearance.

Just watched bbc news and manu squad £750 million lost to Grimsby squad which cost £3.5 million. Interviewed the Grimsby supporters and a lass said this was the best day of her life this year, and she got married this year :emoticon-0152-heart

An absolute shambles at Everton last night ...

... 6000 Mansfield turned up and it was the home club that looked like a lower league outift.

Thousands left outside, kick off delayed and people still missing much of the first half.
