That really would be a surprise mind. Very unimpressed with him a couple of weeks ago. He's as slow as West Ham's other defenders, and at his age will not be getting quicker, or better.

Hasn't been for a while tbh, I'll be glad when the window closes personally ...

.... it's at the point where it's becoming a distraction to the season rather than a benefit.

I think we'll sign a couple, one permanent and one loan, but we really need to get down to business now imo.

Some less than average footballers go for stupid money, the fees Sancho has cost for example are barmey, Garnacho has done nothing of note to warrant such a big price. If Scholes, Petit, Overmars and their ilk were around today they would be worth 100s of millions. Make your debut and do ok and your in the England squad these days, football has gone mad

True this. Every player you haven't heard of and wears a shirt with a continental sponsor on it seems to be "valued at £23m - £26m".

I was too cool to appreciate some of these old actors but, when I see the films now, I realise how good they were ...

... Edward G Robinson had a real menace in his voice, he'd have had people hitting the report button on here like a machine gun.

He wasn’t slow in that race against Talbi mind. Absolutely blitzed him in one particular moment.

Always loved seeing those old films. Edward G was great. You didn't have to look like a Ukrainian male model to appear in films back then. You had to act!

There was no need for computer generation either, people used their imagination ...

... Edward G Robinson was the Xhaka of films, stood in the centre and barely moved from his spot.

Yep, I remember that. Really odd, and maybe Talbi started badly there or it was that lads once a game burst!
Could be me, but he always looks slow when I've watched him. They say down there that they have to play three at the back because they are all too slow to play with a two .

I didn't pin the ban on you. I said surely it wasnt down to the interaction.

You don't ban people. Moderator do.
