Worked with a Rangers fanatic in the 1990s when Rangers were winning titles every year.and he had a 10 bet accumulator. A few were long shots but Rangers he thought was his nailed on one. They hadn’t lost at home all season. 9 came in Needless to say they got tonked at home by Hearts.
I don’t want to add to arguments about our finances or any other clubs, I also didn’t know where to put this. So does anyone know what is happening with any possibility of points deductions? Not just us, but Wednesday & I thought Leicester were due a points deduction when they got relegated. Are any of these actual possibilities, or is it all if & when we & them **** up again? I’ve heard & read nothing about any points deductions this season, but it all seems strange considering what’s happened in previous seasons.
Of that list, Leicester are the only one currently expected to get a points deduction, probably 12 points.
Big night for GY tonight. I remember the Humber Derby, classics, with big crowds, far more than the 9,000 at Blundell Park tonight. My first was GY away about 1965? City lost 1-0 and Matt Tees probably scored for the Mariners. As a lad I remember the ground being packed out, no segregation in those days either. Proper big match atmospheres and those times were great while they lasted. They'll give Manchester United a game tonight.
