The Labour Party never made her leader. Liz Truss PM let that sink in. How was your pension affected? £400billion off all our pensions.
But to have balanced views you have to be willing to listen to views that might be uncomfortable or contradictory to your own.
No such thing as free energy, remember parents being told under nuclear, power would be given away. Renewables are like fusion, will be cheaper in ten years, five years later will still have to wait ten years.
Also why do you keep bringing up Farage and trump as they are just as bad as Starmer but not as bad as Lib dems or Greens
Starmer may have faults but he is x 1million of Trump and Farage. Green energy makes sense and will be good for our kids and our kids kids. Let’s see who is funding Trump and Farage and see why they want to drill baby drill. The sheep will follow.
I’m sure Farage will tell you. When they plan to start fracking in right wing constituencies it will be fun. Politics of division and hate.
You do know your favourite party are funded by fossil fuel companies? Nowt wrong with industry but green industries also create jobs and are doing.
Which is my party as have said a few times i don't like any of the main parties, but i have to vote so is a choice of basically which body part do you want to lose your leg or arm. i don't want to lose any but you have to choose, so i wait till near an election and see which party i dislike the least. Give me a proper working class centre ground party and i would vote for the straight away, to many people with blinker views or my dad voted this party as well as my granddad so i have to vote for the same
Working class like Eton Farage? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-berkshire-63683667.amp I agree by the way there should be more working class people in politics but it’s run by millionaire donors or in reform’s case billionaires and corporations who instruct the party to vote against workers rights and the redistribution of wealth.
Thing is there are worker rights and worker rights, i worked in a factory (shop floor) my whole working life, union member as well. Brother is a builder, in early 20's started his own company, i help him set out jobs, load bricks etc to get started. First few years he earned half the money of lads working for him as he built up company, you got to see lads who worked for him, some hard working some basically taking the p***. should they both have same rights and bonuses etc. Also now he has built up company should his hard earned money be took of him and given to people that have sat on their backsides.
Personally here should be certain standards to become an MP as it is a very important job. To be an MP you should be min 30 YO and have had what i call a proper job either private or public sector, no straight out of uni and no political researcher type job. Also to represent an area you should of lived or work there for a min of the previous 5 years.
I have seen this so often you wouldn’t believe it. Why should lazy bastards who are always off sick be treated the same as lads/lasses who work their socks off?
Do you think it’s best unions have no right to protest or should employers decide when to fire people ?
Bit of both, unions are the biggest hyocrites going, when i started the union just represented engineering companies, by the time i left was part of Unite, unions in private sector worked with companies to compete with other companies as don't compete company goes pop all lose jobs, same union Pub sec NO job loses No improvements but want same payrise for no improvements. All politicians are cowards against pub unions, Camerons Austerity should of been prod impovements to save money but NOT just sack the people at the bottom who do most of the work. Same as Labour now, i would give the more respect if they had turned to doc and train unions and said, you want 22% payrise then we want 44% prod improvements.
PRS I have no qualms at all about workers rights but I do have qualms about unions helping useless sods ( who they know are useless sods ) just for one upmanship on a employer.
Just so you can make an informed decision. They’ve opposed reforms to employment rights and this was them in the election policies https://app.croneri.co.uk/feature-a...024-what-would-win-reform-mean-employment-law It’ll be about business profits to help the corporations they represent that’s for certain, not workers
