If only we had people in charge like Johnson and Sunak who oversaw a massive rise in energy prices eh? Headcase aye someone is. The real reason we have high energy prices is the ****s who privatised power in the 80s but many will not judge them but rather judge a person in a snapshot on how he eats. That’s why our country is fckd.
This guy has a different view. It’s a long watch, 39 minutes, but as you have already said, you listen to the experts, he has his ideas on why the expert approach could be flawed, not only in relation to high energy prices but in general. I have no idea on your background but he taught at the LSE so has to have a bit of intelligence about him. You should recognise him straight away and I think your first reaction would be “racist” based on one public comment he made and later apologised for. But in general I don’t think he’s stupid and his views should be given credence. If you want to skip to the high energy prices go to the 29:00 minute point, otherwise watch the lot. Oh aye….he doesn’t have any time for Blair or Starmer.

I certainly listened to experts on the European referendum as I genuinely wanted advice to make an informed decision. The experts were right as they predicted it would have massive negative effects to the economy whilst making the immigration and boat problem worse. The experts were right on this occasion. Given privatisation happened 40 years ago I and most balanced people would recognise it has been a disaster whether you want to talk about, water, energy or rail. We can see it with our eyes. The country’s high energy costs are directly down to privatisation with lack of infrastructure investment over decades, little investment in cheap green technologies and shareholders creaming the profits so we see little investment. Of course the right on here want to blame the ‘headcase’ Milliband because it hides the fact of the clusterfck of privatisation. il pass on video thank you, I’m sure his names goes before oh and what a surprise he doesn’t like left leaning politicians
The real reason is all main parties with there over zealous green policies, if you believe UN policies, then we should still be using coal fired power stations, over 800 years of coal sitting under our feet and still cheapest form of fuel.
