lets hope ickle acun learns and those nasty means eflsies stop targetting us to prove a point CHALLENGES WILL NEVER BREAK US; THEY ONLY MAKE US STRONGER. CHALLENGES WILL NEVER BREAK US; THEY ONLY MAKE US STRONGER. CHALLENGES WILL NEVER BREAK US; THEY ONLY MAKE US STRONGER. CHALLENGES WILL NEVER BREAK US; THEY ONLY MAKE US STRONGER. CHALLENGES WILL NEVER BREAK US; THEY ONLY MAKE US STRONGER.
Are we still OK with Acun doing everything himself, from making the tea to scouting for players. Washing the kit to drafting contracts with players. Makes you wonder why hull city employ hundreds of people.
Acun played fast and loose with our finances and has learnt the hard way, you can’t do that in English football. I know a few posters who seem to have connections within the club had suggested things had improved since the EFL restrictions (less chaotic). We seem to have a decent if yet threadbare squad and a manager capable of motivating the group (and improving players), so a season of Championship safety should be in sight. Next summer will be most telling (if Acun is still here). With fee restrictions lifted and a prudent season of FFP, will mean we have more room to spend again, how Acun goes about this will tell us if he has truly learnt his lesson.
The owner is still here because he didn't find a buyer this summer or last. He's been actively looking and still is. You can choose to not believe it and burry your head if you want, but it doesn't mean the reality isn't there
If he’s actively looking to sell for the last 2 years why’s he committing to big fees and big wages? They are not the actions of someone looking to sell. Of course if a keen suitor came along and the price was right, the club would be sold, but that isn’t going to happen because the amount of filthy rich people that would be desperate to buy Hull City over any other club in the English pyramid can be counted on 0 fingers.
Oops. My bad. I missed you off the list of usual suspects! So, yep, there we go, nothing from you either. Where's your proof? You have none. My proof is that he's still here, and that if he had seriously been looking to offload, we would know about it clearly by now. He's so keen to sell and has lost interest in us that he doesn't even bother to attend near enough every game still ... oh, hang on! Every club has it's price. Yes, he might have sold, and might still sell if someone came along with an offer he couldn't refuse. He's been open to investment whilst retaining a controlling interest. We all know that. And why wouldn't he. But, keep repeating it, and one day it will be true for sure, I'll give you that. But for now it's just another line in that list of BS.
When people are trying to sell a house they are still in it, doesn't mean they aren't trying to sell, so If your proof is that's he's still here then Jesus you're clutching at straws or your burden of proof is laughably low just to try and satisfy your delusions. You're that blinded by god knows what that you could arrive home from one of your walks and find acun in bed with your partner, he'd throw the "one family" line at you and you'd make him a brew and invite him round for Xmas to meet the rest of the family.......
Nah, Howden. If I’m selling my house because I no longer want to live there, I’ll just let the dog **** all over the carpet and piss on all the walls. Why bother keeping it clean and tidy if I’m going to sell it?
Why would someone invest without having a controlling interest? What return are they going to get on their investment?
Once again, pathetic. You and the usual suspects are the one's claiming things. The burden of proof is on you lot. You have none. I'm not blinded by anything other than the facts. I've even listed them all to be disproved. You can't disprove them and so you all resort to pathetic responses like yours above. It's getting very boring now.
Most people wouldn't and I guess that's why nobody (other than perhaps overpaying sponsors, but that's a different concept) has so far come in with such an investment! Doesn't stop him staying open to it though. Why wouldn't he. Edit: investment and returns are probably the wrong terms to use!
The same person who told me we were interested in Hadžiahmetović about two months ago, long before any media mentioned it, also told me Acun was looking to sell last summer. Howden heard the same from a separate source at the club. I’m more inclined to believe my mate over Acun, a proven liar.
That's not proof. It's hearsay. All the evidence points the other way. Honestly, if he's seriously, actively been looking to sell since as far back as last summer, something would have happened by now or at the very least we'd all know about it.
