Said as much in the lads chat, if a player gets injured but is off the pitch the match continues.

Well the 1st half was pretty shocking but definitely a better 2nd half after switching people around. The 2 new lads looked good. Dont think the lads who have been starting in the league have anything to worry about in losing their place.
The amount of people who didnt have a clue where they were supposed to sit was unreal. Our row was still like musical chairs 20 minutes into the game because people were in the wrong seats. Surely when you book tickets you take note of the seating plan and have an idea of where you need to be??

As positive as ever I see Monty. Keep it up mate, eventually KLD will drop you a line with an offer to sit on the board.

Honestly couldn't give a **** about the competition this year. The squad is not deep enough to compete in multiple competitions and we already have to contend with 2 (Premier League and AFCON). I'll be fine with us going out in the 3rd round of the FA Cup too.

This season, survival is the beginning and end of our priorities. Once we survive, the money comes in for a second year, the 3 promoted teams are the favourites to go down and we're starting to look towards the next level.

Disappointing night. The first half was poor and their goal was superb.

We worked hard in the second half and put plenty of chances in, but just couldn't get the second goal to win it.

Son's friend said a bairn slipped off a seat and got his leg trapped. They had to dismantle the seat to get him out.

I know where you are coming from but it needn’t be either or imho.

A bit of a cup run would have kept the fringe players fitness levels up and be good for morale.

Irrelevant now as we are out but I think the club didn’t want a cup run either given there was not a great deal of effort put into the organisation and promotion of the match. Perhaps at odds with our ambitious project rhetoric.

As a side hopefully those in charge of ticketing look at future arrangements as it’s not good that so many missed the kick off (I appreciate some will argue get there early) but anther point would be we didn’t maximise our home advantage by not having home fans behind both goals in the event of a penalty shoot out.

It is difficult to be too critical of the club given the strides we have made on and off the pitch in recent months but our ticketing arrangements were very poor last night as well as playing kids out of position.

Not sure I agree with the “not interested in the cup games” bit. Nor the ****e team selection. Fir me It was the formation which was the problem first half not the team. Second half we were a million miles ahead of the first. Probably should’ve won it comfortably tbh with the chances we had.

I’ll be honest and say I’d rather not have the distraction of this cup. Love to win it. Absolutely I would, but there are more important things this season

I’m also not thinking as deep into it as you have. My opinion is it was first competitive game for most of them. They’re likely to be rusty.

Agree with Rigg, Neil and Huggins comments, I’m hoping, particularly with Huggins, that it’s just a lack of game time and rust!!

Apparently KLD wanted a squad capable of a cup run, don't think he will be happy.

I reckon this would be a good shout, especially with his pace and how he likes to cut in and score like he did against Coventry and West Ham on his right foot.

He reminds me alot of Thierry Henry (on a much lesser scale obviously), and he used to also be a success when he played out wide on the left, he played there alot when he was at Barca

Hopefully he is asking questions regarding all aspects, on and off the pitch, regarding last night. It’s needed as a lot of money has been spent and it was poor.

Last night would have been alot better if our back up leftback Cirkin was available. Alese could have covered there too aswell as playing LCB. Anybody know when these 2 sicknotes are meant to be gracing us with their presence again?

Last night was the 12th time in a row we've failed to win a home cup game (excluding the pizza cup)
