Thought he was off to Man City? And we'd need the extra money for Vlahovic's wages, even if he agreed to a pay cut.
He needs to understand that unless someone offers what we believe he’s worth (£150m at the very least) that he ain’t going anywhere. He needs to also understand that that ain’t ****ing happening this summer in any case because we have no time to replace him. He can either continue to refuse to play and continue to be fined handsomely for the privilege of doing **** all, or he can pull his big boy pants on and get back in the side and hope that someone comes in for him in Jan or next summer with an offer that we’re willing to entertain! if these reports are true then I firmly believe we’ve seen the last of him in a Newcastle shirt. Gutted in reality as he’s an absolute baller in my opinion and should only get better. He’s ****ing tarnished his name around these parts for sure now, he could have moved on to bigger and better things and left an absolute hero. It’s not really a good look to potential suitors either I wouldn’t have thought but he probably doesn’t have the intelligence to even consider that!
**** PSR - sign the lot and take the 4-6 point deduction. But seriously there are some insanely good deals out there currently - Akanji and Ederson at City - £15m a piece supposedly, Donnarumma reduced to around £30m, Vlahovic touted at £30m. You could sign 3 of them for £75m... yeah your wage budgets gone but just get a sponsor for the training ground at £30m and that will cover there wages up to £600k p/w (200k p/w each)
Donnarumma? Apparently his basic wage is over £200k pw, whilst various bonuses are rumoured to take it to over £400k pw.
Isak will never be able to set foot in Newcastle again after this. His card is marked and there are people out there stupid enough to physically harm him.
Palace’s deal for El Khannouss is dead in the water. Just ****ing get it done for £35m and **** wolves off completely!
Well, it's clocking off time for Nephew Howe and his buddies, so sadly no progress today on finding another £10m for the decidedly average Strand Larsen. Better luck tomorrow, then we've just two more days to find players (Saudi's don't work Fridays, Newcastle don't do weekends) so roll on Monday when we'll have 8 hours to sort Isak, likely replace Isak, replace Wilson and add another midfielder. None of which is likely (Eddie will remind us in his presser that he 'hopes' we can, but nothing will be 'close'). All of which still leaves us with Barnes and Pope in the first XI. Weird how **** we've become at transfers, PSR or not.
Just waiting for the Scousers benefit concert to free Isak. Rope in Bob Geldof, get the Tootles, Lighting Seeds, the remaining Pacemakers and Cilla Blacks dog to light up Stanley Park.
Reports suggesting the dippers won’t pay over £120m for him as they’re worried about distorting the market and affecting future deals. Not sure what the **** that even means but sounds like they’re just making up excuses to not bid again and making it look like our fault when he doesn’t get his move! ****ing knobends! They seriously think he’s worth the same as Wirtz..**** right off!
I mean, it was a heck of a performance given we were playing with just 8 men and Liverpool had 12. But as I said, if the best XI players were just put on the pitch at the same time, we'd currently have 6 points and be very attractive proposition. Instead, Howe perseveres with Trippier, Pope and Barnes. Why wasn't Osula on in the 75th vs Villa? If someone has to play out of position, why not pick your worst threat instead of handicapping the side? Barnes doesn't even like it here, doesn't seem to really get on, there's no smiles like we saw from Elanga and Osula. Honestly, can we not just send him back to Leicester and take El Khannouss? Trippier should be so far gone by now - surely even Krafth, Ashby or Shahar aren't worse? And the Ramsdale decision is going to baffle me like when Barnes arrived - why bring in a sub? Bring in a proper first choice player and relegate Pope.
Performance i have no problem with, Football side with Howe I have no problem with. My issue is with PIF and how they have let this whole situation develop. My other issue is that as a fan base we stlll think we are the plucky underdogs, we have that mentality. We are top 7 now and we can compete with anyone. This proud we lost against the mighty Pool and had the moral victory, just gets my goat up.
You’re a ****ing ****** that’s clearly new to the game and doesn’t understand the rules. I thought you were one of the lads sock accounts which is why you’ve been given an easy ride but you’re not by all accounts. So you come across as a ****ing bell end that knows less about footballers than than Roly and gg
Come back tomorrow, Andy Howe and chums clocked out 12 minutes ago and are heading to Pizza Express to get great value from the "unlimited pizza" deal.
