well done butts, top of the league and we're havin a laff !! hahahaha just for your info, we STUFFED QPHahahaha today and my throat is shredded
We were keeping track on the 'other football' thread. Spoiled the day by letting them score in 'Coventry time'.
TBF to Alnwick, without doing any analysis, my gut feeling is that most of the damage that led to our relegation was done with Horvath in goal, after Alnwicks injury that kept him out for the remainder of the season. I might be wrong though........................
That’s right!!! Blame the keeper Always the keeper’s fault …. I remember we lost 11 nil in my early days and the outfield players blamed me for every goal (there was 2 penalties ffs) I also dropped a beer back at the pub that day and I’m still reminded about it to this day
I said it time and time again last season that we needed a better keeper. PL managers reckon a keeper worth his salt should be worth @13-14 points a season. Trott is in credit already this season
To be honest, a semi is good for Masky. He’s more of a quarter kind of guy. And that’s on a good day.
I see we've another 12.30 ko on Saturday. Including the cup, that'll be 8 games and I think only one has been 3pm on a Saturday.
After the turgid dross served up in recent seasons, they must be enjoying the current offering which is much easier on the eye. Either that or they're waiting for us to come a cropper.
With games being selected for coverage some time ago, I expect it's a lot to do with the game being between two of last season's relegated Championship clubs as was last weekend's game against Luton. The fact that we're playing so much differently and attractively and head the table is a bonus for Sky and us.
WoL not doing their homework again (or I've miss counted). Theyre saying Trott has only conceded two goals this season. I make it one, one in the cup, none in the league. Turner conceded our only league goal against.
