Pool were lucky bastards against Newcastle last night and I truly believe we can go there and get 2 or 3 goals, can we stop them doing the same though? I have a gut feeling we are going to pull off a big win at Anfield! COYG!!!

I hope you're right mate. They do look soft as **** through the middle and I think there's potential for us to get a win up there. They will be expected to attack which should suit us. As long as we can defend against their attack, which looks very good, then they will be susceptible to the counter. We've now got an avenue for balls over the top into Gyokeres which he loves. And I think this game could be tailor made for Eze.

Pool seem to be on a massive roll in terms of luck at the moment.
I hope it ends this weekend because it was with them ALL last year.
Our 6 points was vital in the opening 2 games because it eases the pressure a bit. A loss is not a major blow considering we have them back at the Emirates later in the season.
A draw would be a good result.

This will be a very interesting match. Best defence in the league vs the best attack in the league. It's a pity Saka is gonna be missing, because even despite our depth now, ultimately Saka is in a league of his own when it comes to quality on that RHS.

However, I back us to get a result - may not be a win though.

Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping we can pull off a win as it's been a long time since we've won at Anfield in the league (2012 was the last time). And it'd be a huge statement of intent. It wouldn't make us favourites nor would it mean we're a shoo-in - it'd only be the 3rd game of the season, and undoubtedly, there'll be plenty of twists and turns to come as the season progresses. But if we could win, it'd be big. Especially for these players.

We haven't lost there for the last 3 years which is positive, but it'd be nice if we can do one better and get the victory. Gonna be very tough as it always is over there. I'm intrigued to see what happens.

    I am hoping Eze plays.
I think he could have a major impact against that Liverpool midfield.

Pay £60m for someone and give them the #10 shirt and surely this means they’re immediately starting most games when fit.
