Yeah full of yanks talking about their Scottish decendancey

 

Staying in York now if you have any recommendations

 

They have a Castle I believe.
It has a chequered history.
I believe the entire Jewish population of the area was rounded up and massacred there around 700 or 800 years ago.

 

Ok I’ll pull a few statues down

 

It was a dark chapter for sure, and not one that sits well in the 'good news' thread.
But of interest to those with a liking for Medieval history.
Sadly such things went on all over Europe in the dark ages. England was no exception.
