Pinkun has just written a piece about some of the alarming stats from this team.

We've conceded the 4th highest shots in division

Only Sheff Wed and Wrexham have higher XG against (5.2), which is a grade of quality chances

Our pressing numbers are amongst the worst in division.

This, with a specific defensive midfielder and 3 centre backs.

No clean sheets in 4 games, 6 conceded.

The focus of the transfer window was very much to resolve the defence. Harry Darling is an excellent player. Topic despite his errors yesterday I think is a good player. Should we really be needing a dm with 3 centre backs though?

This is sadly getting messier as each game passes. How long before the new players are superceded by the old? How long before we see McLean, Nunez, Duffy, Fisher, Mahovo, Marcondes as the main men again?

I don't think it will be very long.

I'm guessing we have one of the best away form stats & 1 of the best strikers on form over the FIRST FOUR GAMES <laugh>

If I understood stats and the need for stats I would probably be concerned but on the basis of how I judge performances - what I see with my own eyes - I am not over impressed and if at any time this season Duffy is considered the answer then it is a bloody stupid question.
