Arteta actually said in today Press Conference that 'there may be more' additions after Eze (who he refused to name).

A loan move for Rodrygo being taunted as well as some sources claiming we are still after Alvarez from Atletico Madrid.

    Surely Not..<yikes>

Would love him to stay, but its hard to see where he will get minutes

Cb options are actually Saliba, Gabriel, Mosquera, Timber, White and Califiori

Would be a shame to lose Kiwoir and I think he's been decent for us and provides good back up

But we are going to need some outs to balance the books.

Surely if we sign Rodrygo it means Martinelli is on his way to Saudi?

Either Trossard or Martinelli - but given Trossards new contract, likely Martinelli

I suppose if they offload Viera, Nelson, Zinchenko and Kiwior that could be enough.

Would be nice to keep Martinelli.

Just we spent £50m on Madueki, £67m on Eze, £63m on Gyokeres... also renewed Trossards contract.

and we have Dowman and Nwaneri coming through.. there has to be sales.

Fabrizio saying Porto's offer for Kiwior will be loan with an obligation to buy that is over €20m. I'm sorry but we should be getting around €35m for Kiwior. Anything less than that is a joke.

25 years old, Polish international, proven he's a capable defender when filling in for Gabriel, played in the Champions League and has been a crucial squad member of a title-challenging Premier League side for 2.5 years.

He's a very capable defender. I'm actually surprised there aren't more clubs interested in him.

I think he's a £45m defender. Be hard to buy a better CB for less.

But to me that just shows what good deal Mosquera is. The guy his class.

Transfer fees are not linear in amount - The very best CBs are touted around £80m.
Kiwior is a back up, so i don't think £45m is reasonable.
I would expect something like £30m

So Porto's bid for Kiwior is a loan with an obligation to buy for a little over €27m (around £24m). This really bothers me, especially with the fees less established/experienced/proven players are going for.

Kiwior's a very good player. How are we letting him go for such a derisory fee?

My only guess is that Porto is his preferred option and he's not interested in any other move otherwise it just makes no sense that we're willing to part ways with him for a fee like that.

We're technically making a small profit on him as we bought him for £18m in January 2023, but this fee doesn't reflect his value at all. He's easily a £30m+ player.
