His defending for their goal was embarrassing. He wasn't even looking towards the ball, never mind actually challenging to win it

I've said all along I'm always nervous when there are a lot of changes to a winning team. I think this lot will take time to get to learn to play together, but I'm confident they will.
My fear is always that too much ground can be lost during that bedding-in process, so as long as we're pulling in the points while not being at our best I'm hopeful.

Under Klopp's prime team, we always felt we'd get the all important goal no matter what was on the clock. I had that feeling tonight for some reason; just had that feeling we'd get a winner after they'd equalised.

Seen a few give Chiesa credit for the dummy for the winner, it was Zobo <cheers>

Still not sure about Kerkez, makes the simple look hard.

I was screaming for Rio to come on as that would have prevented them from throwing everyone forward if we had kept him up when they came forward. We played poorly tonight but came away with a win which is what champions do.

If Gordon had stayed on it would have been a different outcome.

A win is a win but our defence is worrying.

Love a last minute winner. What a debut for the youngster. Alisson in top form too, always bodes well.

Maybe but maybe not. Gordon stays on, we were still 1-0 up. That 2nd goal not sure has anything to do with 10 men.

10 men and 2 down, almost a no lose situation and they just threw everything at it and had nothing to lose. Do always say 2-0 is dangerous scoreline, same when playing 10 men.

If we killed it for another 10/15 mins or get a 3rs was game over. But 2-0 to 2-1 suddenly it only needs a set piece as shown.

If Gordon hadn't gone when he did he'd have gone a few minutes later - he was too fired up to stay in control.

I think its a bit harsh on kerkez. Yes he was weakness piss for guimaraes goal.

But he's there fighting his ground and being asked to stamd in a 3 when he's a natural running and attacking fullback back. We are inhibiting him to allow the right to go forward.

He didn't shrink one thing today butane a howler as he wasn't sure and did the worst thing in the end

Should have had a yellow in first 5 mins anyway.. that was his 2.5 yellow moment and when you see the impact he's done more than enough

Chiesa was involved in the build up to third and to be fair it was a really well worked goal
Probably our best move of the match if being honest

We will have to defend better against Arsenal. Still practice makes perfect. More corners routines and long ball stuff.

Konate is abit suss of late. He's likely to get injured again soon and probably would be an enforced introduction for leoni...which wouldn't be a bad thing.

Haven't quite played as a team first two games but still got results...in for an interesting season.
