I think we’ll see Isak back in the squad after the international break. JR met with him yesterday so hopefully he’s been told he’s going nowhere and that we’re never selling him to the dippers and he needs to sort his **** out, get back in the team and get everyone back on side and work his arse off this season. Do that and we’ll put a new contract in front of him next summer. We are literally 3-4 decent signings away from being able to challenge the top 4 regularly but we need to keep improving our squad year on year, we need regular European football to do that as well as commercial deals off it

 

Yesterday's meeting with Isak was apparently to attempt to thrash out a new contract. Apparently we feel keeping him in the face of a higher bid in the £130m region is untenable if we can't extend the contract length.

 

I'd sell him at this point... The sides got injury problems in midfield and no goals in the fwd line.

Sell today and get some players in.

Also get a good keeper for heavens sake.
