Said a few times earlier in the year but I'd have liked us to go for Johansson. Would have been easily doable had we sold Ramsdale instead of loaning him.

Though we probably should have signed him from Rotherham. Think Stoke only paid about £2m?

I think it might have even been £1m, but either way, such a good price it was weird that he only ended up at Stoke. Signing him would also have prevented him from pulling off brilliant saves against us every time we play his teams. Might have got a point or 3 on Saturday without him in goal!

 

I don't think Gav can be complacent, Still has already said he likes to go long sometimes.

 

Newcastle have bid £50m for Strand Larsen who only signed for Wolves earlier this summer for £23m having been on loan there last season. This transfer window has felt like such a circus among the PL teams.

 

Just looked it up and apparently Rotherham had a relegation release clause of 750k ish.

Norwich fans clearly think he's a disaster - and the way they had previously changed his wiki page was worth a chuckle - but my expectation is that he'll never play for us except in an emergency. In 10 years time, we'll all have forgotten his name and the year he spent on loan with us.

Its a much better idea to get wound up over us only signing 2 bench players in possibly the most important transfer window of recent years.

Yep. We've now officially entered the final seven days (window closes at 7pm on Monday). And SR still have some serious work to do. As I said this morning, if they get this wrong too, it will be the final straw.

He’s unlikely to be much worse than Lumley who was our third choice in the PL last season! Doubt we’ll ever even see him play except maybe in a cup if Macca is injured.

 

Not sure Stoke would of been willing to sell their number one GK to a fellow Championship club to be fair.
