Genuinely think the same. He cant set a team up to beat a team of jobbers. Low-block and he's ****ed.
I understand that to the average MOTD watching, far right pub attending fan, things might look bleak on the surface, but ive had a look at the underlying data and the evidence is clear: its simply a matter of time before "Russbaw" begins to purr. Once he gets rid of the troublemakers like Hamza "Iggers" Igamane, who pointe blanc refused to play at the weekend, and Nico "Raskers" Rascan, the new boys will totally buy in to the project and results will follow. Im predicting a season defining win over Brendy Rodgers overhyped toothless galacticos will be the catalyst for a remarkable "turnaround" in fortunes; its not really a turnaround when the data is already this good.
Lovely to see someone finally understand that data is everything. Good luck next season in the Championship!
In his first 6 matches, Rangers conceded no fewer than 106 shots on their goal. The underlying data is some team is going to give us one hell of a doing.
Getting battered by bang average teams is one of Martin's specialities. Even in the championship we lost 5-0 to Sunderland who ended up finishing 16th. We did batter them on possession that day though and that's what's really important.
And in all likelihood they begin with C and end in c. It happened to us in our first season under Martin too. 5-0 loss at Sunderland 5th game of season then 1-4 loss to Leicester at home the week after
Haha thought the same mate. The Rangers fans can all probably tell how mentally scarred we are still from this clown. He'll be at another championship club by the end of this season most likely.
He did a pretty good job of securing general media sympathy when he left us. That’s going to be tougher second time around.
Yeah but I'm sure it's great fun though. Has he come out with that cracker yet? Honestly mate he's probably one of my most disliked Saints managers ever (second only to Redknapp and that's more for what he did down the road than here). Quite an achievement for a man who led us to a Wembley final win.
As I said before the weekend this is the reason why I'm enjoying him failing so much. He's managed to gaslight half the football world into thinking he's some visionary and a brilliant coach and there was a perception that we were harsh on him. It's glorious seeing him found out on such a big stage. ****ing fraud.
It’s interesting - I think most football fans in England (me included) presume that any decent manager should be able to turn up at Rangers or Celtic and without much effort or extra ability finish in the top 2. The challenge is finishing first. Yet RM is somehow making even top 5 look unlikely right now.
