That's the same with Hetty over the road. Her constant sniping at me and being desperate to start my usual threads before me just wore me down until I broke. Match threads, RAWA stuff, National Trust passes, weekend plans etc.

Yeah I can sort of relate to that. I used to post on a daft thread in Parsnip, Happy Tuesday, it was a bit like the idle chit chat thread, just people chatting $hit, in some cases literally. :emoticon-0140-rofl:
The thread must have generated enough traffic for Hetty to notice it and suddenly at 00:01hrs on a Tuesday morning there she is posting Happy Tuesday, just so she has the first post. The feeling on the thread just changed. Anyway, minor problem, really, as I don't post much over there now anyway.

It's just a shame it's impacted you at a much higher level and, more importantly, stopped you from helping people. Something that you're good at.
You'll just have to help out us poor basket cases over here :emoticon-0140-rofl:

I'm not allowed to post on Happy Tuesday as me being there affects her mental health. Ditto several other threads I used to chat in and the depression thread that I used to help people in. I've ignored her and not engaged in conversation with her on said threads but just my presence on them is triggering to her.

It's bizarre how her mental health trumps anyone elses mental health. Nobody over there seems to give a flying f*** that my mental health has suffered by her forcing me off threads and her taking over threads I used to post.

I'm also annoyed that she's telling people I'm no longer the RAWA rep and people need to contact RAWA directly instead of going through me.

Sounds like an internet version of coercive control mixed with gaslighting. Pretty unpleasant yet the mods there are saying 'yes that's fine, carry on' by letting it run.

    Such is life.
    If you're in, you're in.
    If you're not, you're out.
The best candidate doesn't always get the job.
Sometimes it's worth digging your heels in and other times it's better to shrug your shoulders and get on with your life.
Cream normally rises to the top and $hit sinks.
Get on with life and enjoy yourself.
You know, in yourself, that you're better than them, so chin up, smile and move on.
    Their loss, our gain.

Bloody hell woman, you've got me blathering on etc. etc.
I've suddenly got a song in my head
    Float, float on
Was it by The Floaters, late 70's I think, way before your time young lady.

    You're such a flirt <laugh>

What was it with these black lads in the 70's ...

...decent tunes but the suits and dance routines were horrendous.

That's the tune mate, I've got an ear worm now lol.
Takes me back to The Senate Nightclub in Peterlee. Doubles for the price of singles before 11 o'clock. Go to bar at 10:55 order a tray full of various spirits, set for the night.

On reflection it now seems like the Star Wars bar but I used to enjoy myself. Until I had to get up and go to work the next day lol.
    Edit
Isn't it funny how a sing can take you back to a certain place and time
