Marnin' Chill morning, just having some eggs on toast Should be getting on with some work today, but there is a massive swell hitting today. Remnants of hurricane Erin predicted to be 12-15ft overnight and into tomorrow with spring tides too, so the lifeguards are going to be busy with the holiday makers hoping to get the trailing edge of it later before it goes mental, or seek out some sheltered spots tomorrow
Nah I meant the Jesus and St George were Palestinian, so British Christians should be painting Palestinian flags on roundabouts bit
Anyway, was out on the bike last night and bumped into a bunch of tourists from Pakistan, youngsters in their 20's studying in Liverpool. They asked me to take a group photo of them and then me being me, we got chatting, asking them where they came from, what their home life was like growing up etc. They were from a place called Gujranwala in the north. Most of them were studying to become doctors and one of the lasses was doing a degree in some kind of molecular biology stuff, she was hoping to work in medicine too. Sort of folk that @Sucky might be treated by when he's an old codger and needs medical help
Fried eggs, I put a saucepan lid over the eggs so that the yolk gets a little bit cooked, but is still runny in the middle, without any of that snot on the top
Morning - coffee on the garden - already hot, not a cloud in the sky ... marginally too early for a cold one
Yeah, I like my yolks to have a little bit of cooked top, but nice and runny in the middle so that you can mop it up with your toast. My tip is to not have the pan too hot, otherwise you'll burn the bottom of the eggs and make them all crispy and horrible Medium heat, with a lid on the pan (or just covering the eggs) that way it seals the yolks and cooks the eggs evenly, nice and white all over without any scabby bits
