It’s going to be hard reading about other clubs signing players whilst we’re silent. No doubt we’re working really hard in the background. I think we need two players to come in and start. A centre back and an attacker. Think they both need to be able to come in and make an impact in September. Ideally would want another attacker to rotate too. We’ve had a great window so far but need to maintain the momentum and finish strong.

I rate Mayenda and I think he will be that player for us in time but at the minute I feel like we need someone with something a little different.
Guiu could be that player but at this moment in time I'm not sure we have a striker that can score us those everyday goals.
I don’t believe we do at this moment in time. Think the goals will be spread well across the squad
Unsure personally, but then I look across the PL and i'm not sure 50% of the league has a striker that will get double figures.

Jackson - 10 (linked with £60m+ moves)

Delap - 12 (big move to Chelsea)

Larsen - 14 (cost Wolves £25m and they want £60m+ for him)

When I look at that I see that for even just a 10 goal striker you need to pay HUGE money, or get fairly lucky with a cheap deal which is very rare.
So unless we're willing to splash £30m+ on a striker, i'm happy to just stick with what we've got and try to improve the service.
100%. It’s vital we sign a decent winger like IMO. We simply can’t go into December when AFCON rolls around with Mundle and Roberts as the wingers. One will be getting back from a while out and the other just isn’t PL quality.
Need to be able to make some canny subs on the wing during a game when we need to change it.
CB will be vital now too since Ballard’s injury.

A lot depends on how good Guiu is for me. I like that he is a different type of CF and will be an asset in different ways to Mayenda and Isidor but I don't have a clue how good he is.
My big worry with Mayenda is he misses too many of those (against Burnley) type of chances.
I have no doubt about his potential but he has to improve his one touch finishing
Yep. Some of his missed chances in the last year or so have been ridiculous
Even the likes of Haaland miss ones like that but we've seen Mayenda miss too many for it to be a case of bad luck.
He needs to improve there and if he does he will have an amazing career
