I still think Drameh is a possibility at CB if our situation there doesn’t improve.
I also think Williams could play defensive midfield if/when he’s fit enough.

Maybe not, but he's more valuable to this club than to anyone else. We know he really cares and is capable of playing consistently well. When he gets it on his right foot he can swing a very decent ball in and he rarely gets caught out going the other way. He deserves a chance in this team as much as anyone.

Is it not possible to have concussion and the sh1ts concurrently?

Expected back in training on Monday, also according to Jak - but ignore that bit of the same statement you're quoting if you wish.

With the EFL transfer oversite policy in place, and all transfers have to be signed off by the EFL compliance unit for Hull City, it is going to make the final night of the transfer window on the 1st of Sept to be very quiet and boring for City fans. Any prospective deals will have be sorted out by Tuesday / Wednesday this week so they be reviewed and passed by the EFL in time for the window closing.

If any club fancies a cheeky late Monday transfer bid for Harry Vaughan, it just won't be happening.

That was kind of my point, it would be odd for him to want to leave as we're the only Championship club who would want him I think.

One area I disagree on is him rarely being caught out defensively. Spends half on each game on the ground after being beaten by the opposition winger for me. But can't fault his commitment.

To be fair surely transfers out aren't under scrutiny? So we'd be able to move players out, but probably not able to bring anyone in.

If we sign Amir this week and only lose Kamara, bar sorting out Puerta and Laalaoui, then that's probably all we can hope for anyway?

I've noticed that when he does slip on his arse the opposition tend to score, so I keep an eye out for that happening and it is still very rare, and probably quite unfair to single him out for those occasions because of the amount of times he is successful in stopping their attacker. In our first game against Coventry I noticed Drameh failing to do that at least 5 times, just in the first half.

It is possible and I sincerely hope that's the case.
I remember earlier examples of us fans being fed a line. That's maybe why I'm more 'sensitive' to such discrepancies.
I really hope this isn't another example.

Theres no Palace/PL bid currently, but who knows whether there will be this time next week?

It would be a bit counter productive to publicly state he's back training Monday if he not going to be though. They're usually a bit more coy than that when something imminent is afoot.

Interest, yes! Bids? Not as of yet, he's not ready for the prem so any sale should include a loan back, in fact I'd be insisting on it

We may try and insist on it, but how often does it actually happen? :emoticon-0138-think

it was, but no less worse than McCarthy and Egan for the first, Geldhart and Slater on the 2nd, also Lundstram playing the lad on on the 2nd and also Pandur on the 3rd. I think he thought he was going to just nick it, and pass it infield to Ndala, he does get the ball first, but alas

I'd pondered earlier at potentially Coyle slotting in at CB, prob the best defensive option of the full backs

I'd say Coyle was more likely than Drameh as makeshift centre half.

I had just read that Drameh had played at CB before and I actually thought he was taller than he is. Could be bullshit, I’m not 100% on that.

Going forward, if this no 6 is any good then hasn't Lundstram done a job there earlier in his career?
