Disappointing result, I only watched the first half.
Shame we didn't take our opportunities and at least get a draw.
I'm not bothered by the fact it was Burnley. They earned their right to be in this league after all.

Great start at home to West ham.
    So maybe expectations high.
This is a virtually new team though so we should improve.
From what I saw in the first half we were the better side and away from home.

We'll have some shìt losses this season but I also think we'll throw up some surprises.
    Like against west ham.

A good win against the mags should have us bouncing :emoticon-0148-yes:

Maybe it'll stop the arguing <laugh>

Honestly think Brentford is a must win now. 4 points from those opening 3 games isn’t tragic by any means but 1 point from Burnley and Brentford isn’t great at all. Two teams we all expect to be near the bottom of the table, we can’t be dropping points to the **** and expecting miracles against the better teams. We need to beating those around us and anything else is a bonus.

Think if we'd scored when we really should have, we'd have won that.

But Burnley going ahead gave us a test we couldn't pass. Disappointing to see neither of the wide players take their man on. Need more from them, though for me Enzo would start next week.

Expect the coaching staff to be discussing what to do against low block situations in the future. Might not happen very often, but if teams go 1-0 up against us it is a style that is effective against us as it stands.

Asking Xhaka to help on the right with Hume and Seelt is too slow to effectively manage counter attacks. It’s easy to say in hindsight, but I would have liked to see all three substituted. Keep 2-3 quick defenders on, ask sadiki and diarra to sit in front and protect, then let the rest of the team push high and try to create chances to score.

Taking the wingers off didn’t work. We needed a wide 1v1 threat on either side to force their defence to widen to create gaps.

“Job”?? What job? It’s something we volunteer for. I personally work long hours ina stressful job, I don’t need the **** on here. Tried (multiple times) to step down as a mod because of comments like this. But nobody want to
Do it. Because of comments like this!

It’s not a job. We don’t get paid for it. We volunteer.

That's fine. But you have a role to carry out and it hasn't happened.

Wouldn’t describe it as a must not lose, but a win would be a cracking start to the season.

    Draw would be ok.

Definitely would have took 3 out of 6, any points on the road will be crucial. Hopefully the crowd pick up where we left off vs west ham

This post, screenshotted by the 'Deluded World of RTG' Twitter account, made me want to stick pins in my eyes

That poster is a known wum to be fair, always finds weird ways to not be negative as such but to actually appear helpless and useless. It's a weird persona but has persisted for years now. "The Deluded World of RTG" is a creepy account as well mind. I'd have concerns that he's stalking an ex girlfriend in real life.

He's just one of dozens, on there, calling out Le Bris for 'stupidity', Speakman/Ghisolfi/etc for the inadequate players and the club for failing to sign more quality.

I didn't expect the euphoria of Wembley to last the whole season but I'd hoped we'd get past the first week to be totally honest.

It looks as though this internet thingy isn't the place for me after all ...

... I'll stick to travelling, drinking and meeting up with fellow rose-tinted dopes who don't expect a L1 club to suddenly be transformed into a top half PL side.

I'll leave it to the experts to explain where the manager went wrong and what he should've done, it all sounds so simple.
