.............and he went off injured with a groin strain again after just 20 minutes on the pitch - the sub was subbed again.
I feel sorry for the guy. His body obviously isn't up to the rigours of professional sport. I hope there is a 'no return' clause in the loan.
Dreadful parry by Horvath to give the gogs a 2-0 lead. Great goals by Bannan and the other guy to pull back level and should have won it with the last kick of the game - poor finish gave the gogs an undeserved point. https://www.skysports.com/football/...2-sheffield-wednesday-championship-highlights
A bit of pinball involved in the first 3 goals. Wendies butchered the 3 on 2 at the close. Wrexham will be fine, but won't march through this division.
Not so sure about that remote. Very early days but just 1 point (and that was lucky) out of 9 and only outside the bottom 3 on goal difference, could be they've started to believe the Hollywood hype. The teams below and around them are some heavyweights at this level - Sheffield Utd, Norwich, Ipswich and Blackburn won't be down there for long. Best hope for them is to keep Oxford, QPR and the Wendies below them, but on the evidence of yesterday, even with all their troubles, the Wendies looked a better outfit when it came to the battling crunch.
Another big turnover of players that will take time to settle in. Moore will be a handful for many defences and will get goals. I expect them to be outside the bottom 3, but not top 6. You're right about the Hollywood Hype. They seem to have overpaid for some players but have championship and above experience across the board. One question is does Parkinson have the experience at this level? His departures from a number of teams struggling at that level would suggest otherwise. He seems to do well in L2 and L1, but no further. This year could be one of growing pains. After already spending £23M this summer, if they're not top half, will he survive past Christmas?
