I might just about have enough points for Wrexham the way it’s going so that’s a small silver lining. Just the £100 or so for the train and five hours each way.
I went to Wrexham v Bham last season so wouldn't be a new ground for me in any case Doubtless I'll crack in the meantime and go anyhow
I was trying to forget about yesterday but on my YouTube account the “Coventry Dismantle QPR” heading came up. Like a car crash, I couldn’t help myself and watched the 2 minute horror show. In that short time it was plainly evident that we are so defensively off the mark that we seem utterly out of the league we playing in. I don’t know whose fault this all is but it seems JS (or anyone else for that matter) will need to be a miracle worker to turn this around.
yeah, definitely feels like this season is one too many that we’ve started like this. JS doesn’t have many games to turn this around, maybe even just the next one
I cant believe & won’t believe that Nourry has any input on selection or tactics, only 3 games gone & not looking good, I sat though that match like many thousands did & it was a total disgrace & never want to a performance like that again, you don’t sack managers after 3 games, what we need is experienced players in the side & decent midfield playmaker, need to chill after yesterday & look forward to a better performance this Saturday
The first half at Watford it looked as if we had just rounded up 11 randoms from the Wetherspoons 5 minutes before and sent them out wearing blindfolds and earplugs - it was shockingly bad, unbelievably bad I can't imagine how bad yesterday was for those that attended For the guys on here saying it's only 3 games, don't panic, I would ask you to attend in person, watch the horror show first hand and then tell me how to turn this around. Nines mentioned we'd played 173 different players so far this season so selection is an issue, formation - what formation? The basics aren't even there Bob might be right in that Nourry is calling the shots but even so, these are professionals, we have coaching staff - something feels totally wrong to me to lose games in the abject manner we have
Just been announced by club that on Friday evening Andy Sinton suffered a heart attack, he is in hospital recovering that’s why he wasn’t in commentary box for the game
Incredible footage of Kolli going over to speak to a couple of clearly irate fans at the end of yesterday’s match. He’s gone up in my estimation after watching it.
*Post of the Week*... Seriously though, the seeds of yesterday were clearly evident at Watford, our woeful backline play like strangers and the merest pressing instils panic. The team is a car crash waiting to happen and selections continue to baffle. Charlton will be fancying their chances if they see our last three away games...
I don't have rose tinted specs. I absolutely share your concern because losing becomes a habit which we've witnessed too often! Let's see what Julian's promise produces next weekend. I suspect it will be a gritty draw which will be promoted as progress. I suppose after a thrashing, it might be!
I don't think he could really say anything else after that performance He couldn't really refer to his earlier press conference where he said we would have to be patient for a series of wins Now its a draw minimum or trouble at'mill Sadly he has had no time or chance to connect or bond with the fanbase, I suspect he won't be cut any slack at all if we lose and/or Kelman inevitably scores
Don't forget its an Open Training Session on Tuesday. God almighty, of all the times for a nice relaxing PR fun day!
