An enthralling race between Selles and Martin to see which ex Saints manager can be sacked first. My money is on Selles
Commentator: "Rangers now have a chance to surge forward" *Player turns and passes back* "Or maybe not" Boos from Rangers fans.
That goal was peak Martin. Have the ball near the opposition box and then two passes from the opposition and they're through on goal down the middle.
I been thinking about this since you posted. I've already said I'm not particularly enjoying his difficulties but I'm certainly watching his exploits at Rangers closely. The reason I think is that after his time at Saints, many people couldn't believe he had failed his way to a better job. To us the writing was on the wall from day 1. It was clear that Ranger's fans wouldn't have the same patience that he was shown here and nothing short of good start would be tolerated. In reality it's been worse than expected (currently losing at HT to St Mirren) and there is a sense of car crash syndrome about it all. So while some may be enjoying it, others like myself can't help gawking at the football disaster taking place in Glasgow.
Think they might come back and win this tbf but it's a win win really as I don't want him sacked too early.
Was just thinking that. Not beyond the realms of possibility he'll go after this if they can't score. Would be quite poetic if he was sacked after losing to the Saints. Haha they scored just as I hit post.
