Great film. I’d recommend The Zone of Interest too. Chilling. It’s one of those films that really sticks with you for a long time afterwards.
Each to their own, but didn't rate it. They let too many people in at once and, aside from his office, the exhibits are what you see at any Holocaust museum. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Tbh, I can’t remember. It was a few years ago and was there with Den (plus our better halves), so yet another blur in my memory. Do recall it added to the sombre experience, which everybody should go through once in their lifes.
Fortune Hotel just got a whole lot better. The bloke with the Leeds Utd baseball cap just got eliminated.
I think the difference may have been that @TwoWrights said it was full of people. From what I recall there was hardly anyone at all in apart from us when we went. I thought Schindlers place was interesting, and of course Auschwitz and Birkenau were chilling but important to see.
It was heaving when we were there, but if you're on the long list... The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
We went to Auschwitz and Birkenhaus in winter when it was snowing and freezing. You can't imagine how some people lived through it.
We went the day after the beast from the east eased, luckily our plane had been grounded at Leeds/Bradford so were able to go.
