I mean looking at the way some supporters reacted with Eli it was like it was December 24 all over again and he hadn’t been a key reason why we are in the prem with 3 points. Maybe it has just triggered me because I had spent a lot of January fighting fans online in defence of him and not wanting a new striker. Mayenda learns from every miss he has it’s very rare he has a similar bad miss twice. I think this is how he has grown so quickly in the last year
Is Lucumi quick? Alderete looks like a good stopper but not quick. Ballard not quick, Seelt not quick. I think we need pace at the back.

Okay lads, just got back from a few days at Disneyland. Excellent holiday which the little one enjoyed but meant I missed the match yesterday. I heard we had a good first half and poor second basically? It happens, so we move on from a poor result. CB desperately needed - especially with Ballard’s injury. Whether we accelerate the Lucumi chase or go for someone else I don’t know, but one is needed within 48 hours imo to get them bedded in for the Brentford game. Then probably a winger who is left footed and goes on the right. Love Talbi but he’s so raw. Will be an exceptional player in a year or two but not right now.
I didn't think we needed another winger until yesterday when our replacements were a CM and a championship winger.
