Swap him for mccarrthy and it is But its done Im sure we wont have 3 cbs out/injured at the same time again Millwall got battered by boro last week but recovered I think we can do the same against bristol city
I didn’t think Akintola did too much wrong and I’m not writing him off yet or saying he’s **** but did we need to sign him if our wage cap means we have to shift Kamara out to accommodate signing a holding midfielder?
one thing ive noticed under serg is we seem quite prone to cut backs seems to always be a big gap between the defence and midfield on the edge of the area
Yep, when you don't notice the ref he's had a good game....The last time I recall that was actually the lady ref, when we played Rotherham a couple of seasons ago. Not sure what became of her.....I'd have her back most weeks. Yesterday, I felt as if he thought he was the centre of attraction and we'd paid our hard earned to see and hear him blow his whistle.. And NO he wasn't the reason we LOST, they were far better than us on the day.
Good to see you yesterday. Had a few more in Sandringham after you left. Got stuck into the rum when I got home.
I remarked on that at the time. Biggest compliment was no one thought about it being a woman ref because she did such a good job no one noticed her. As good a refereeing performance at City for a long while, Think I saw a PL game at end of last season where she was running the line.
You set of gits cleared off and left me alone with Cityzen, a fate worse than death. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
He had some decent tackles towards the end, it was like a light bulb moment “oh I can hit them hard”. Before that he was nervous and maybe in awe a bit too much.
I have to be honest, I thought he should have scored. When the ball came to him in the area, his control was abysmal, but he looked decent when he came on last week so hopefully his mid-control was due to viral conditions.
