More if they were true.... I had a feeling today with Kamara going and a rumour other than the virus had got to the team...
This is going to be a real dagger in the heart if true, can't blame him for wanting to go prem and not surprised teams will be looking at him, as much as the money would be very welcome, with the fee restrictions it's be a total **** up to let him go
Signing Akintola and having to let Kamara leave just to make room for a new midfielder’s wages is just bizarre. It’s not like we’re making a profit on Kamara anyway and Akintola is a cheap replacement.
Was it suggested Kamara was going out on loan? That would make more sense. We had four wingers on the bench, no central defenders or centrebacks (apart from kids). We always have the kids in this time of year, but it is worrying with the embargo.
Should’ve just not signed Akintola ffs he looks to me to be someone we’ll be trying to shift in 6 months
It was heavily suggested by Cooper that City would not let Kamara leave unless they broke even on the fee they paid Norwich a year ago. We’re now loaning him out to a team in a better league. It’s just daft.
I like him but having seen the imbalance of the squad today, surely that’s not a bad option? He does well and so we get a good price for him or else he comes back to us.
