Yes, let's mess around with the minds of children for the sake of football.

"Yes, a 15-year-old generally has emotional capacity, but it is a period of heightened emotionality, intense and volatile feelings, and a developing capacity for emotional regulation and empathy, alongside struggles with logic and decision-making when overwhelmed. Their emotional lives are complex, marked by the desire for independence, deeper relationships with peers, and a growing ability to understand abstract concepts like morality."

Not seen much of the game so a couple of questions for my learned associates. Who nodded the ball back for Mayenda's chance? How was Ballard injured? Cheers.

Was Ballard, think he got injured doing so - seemed to land funny after heading back across goal for Mayendas chance but nit seen it back so not 100% sure

Because I see expecting something as it should happen, what I think is a prediction. I expect Liverpool to win the league with the squad they have if they get Isak but I think Arsenal will win it. Demand would of probably been a better word than expect in my original post.

Ballard and what looked like a hamstring type of injury ...

    ... 4-6 weeks at a guess.

Haven’t read anything so not taking sides and haven’t seen anything but live so there may be human error.
Also I’m pissed in numerous leffe and just leaving Burnley.
@Washysafc hope you made a more civilised option
    My view without the benefit of close ups;

Ballard injury cost us, not certain whether Seelt was the right option. Their first crucial goal was from that patch, may not be Seelts fault but without doubt Cullen had too much time to pick his spot. Need a look, but make us less easy to score against, make us harder to break against. Would Mukiele have been a better sub?
For me, no general issue with our front few of Talbi, Mayenda, Isidor, Le Fee, Adingra. They are all good players BUT a bit hot and cold/not certain. / short of quality. We need a more certain match winner or two here. Whether that be wide or forward.
A few balls into the box were ****e., including Xhaka, also Hume. Both who I like. We need quality. It costs but if we don’t get it we lose more games like this.
Fine margins BUT short of the required quality.
My lass is in a mood

Thanks lads. 4-6 weeks would be a blow but it's a typical length of time out for a Ballard knock. Real shame that Mayenda couldn't get a nice connection on that chance. No complaints about his clinical finishing last week though.

Was it when he landed for the Mayenda chance? I haven't seen it back so wasn't sure if it was when he ran or when he landed on it

FFS man, keep away from @Washysafc he's a nutcase ...

... I bet he's smashed off his face guzzling Bénédictine in some Burnley nightclub and bothering the strippers <laugh>

Yeah, really launched himself and came down awkwardly ...

... he'll be cursing Mayenda for missing that chance.

Mayenda and was it Talbi or Adingra? Opposite end from me. In short, we take a chance I think we win. We need quality. That premier league match winner. Canny players but we need match winners.

Totally, I'm hoping it's more a stinger type injury - hopefully eases in a day or 2

Gutting for him as his last 4 performances for us seem to have taken him to a different level

Think Phil Smith or James Copley had said he’d been struggling a bit with his groin all week. Hopefully just a strain.

shouldn’t look passed having Muikele to come in, very glad we got that one done

That was my seat ffs, I'd have been next to you but we had a massive garden party at the house today ...

... sadly the owner is such a lovely bloke I hate to let them down, I'll be at the Brentford game though!

These things connect people. All good. It seemed busy around our spot. Maybe cos I’m popular.
