Koumas to Birmingham on loan. If plays regularly should be decent level for him that. Good chance to play 30 plus games and get double digit g/a

Stoke was a good destination last year as they seemed to have an open squad slot and he actually got games despite the goals and assists not being stunning.

The problem here is the kid is a quasi left wing type forward. Not really a winger so if you look at the brummie squad you find demari gray at left wing and Tyler Roberts for striker with Jay stanfield as well.

Tbh this might be a massive mistake for the lad. Let's see if he can push gray out but I doubt it.

BREAKING: Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has challenged Alexander Isak to take a lie detector test. The Swedish striker claims he was promised he could leave the club this summer, a claim the club denies.

If accepted, Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville will administer the test live on Sky Sports this Monday night as part of the Newcastle United V Liverpool coverage.

Chear BS, would be funny though <laugh>

I think if they hook Isak up, they should hook Eddie Howe up too.

Allow Isak and Howe to each ask each other three questions while hooked up to a lie detector on live TV.

(Although only problem with that is that lie detector have a slightly better than 50% accuracy... Not much better than flipping a coin... But still would be entertaining)

I'm starting to get the impression you don't really like Eddie Howe.

He's got nothing that he stands for. He used to play half decent football but he's gone full bore thug or hoof football at Newcastle.

    Back to actual rumours.

Bajcetic now again courting Spanish clubs.

    Girona is the next destination.

Basically if he is not injured he is trying to maneuver out of lfc.

Unless they want to keep him until after the second leg of their European game. I think Wharton would be a better signing from them

    The
It’s clear that they want him to actually qualify for Europe. I think he comes….but Konate goes.

I quite like the thought of a Rodrygo signing but I don’t think he’ll lower his wage demands. Isak will only come if the Saudis don’t cut their nose off to spite their face….so no guarantee but ultimately, they are hard nosed business people and should see sense.

Imo Newcastle have no good options left.

They have a decent first 11.

Goalkeeper could be better but that's tough.
    Cbs are good.
Full backs good if they can get them fit.
    Midfield is very strong.
Wingers are ok (not top tier)
    Isak is the difference

If they had given him his deal and completed on Ekitike they'd be fliers

Isak has basically destabilised the whole show and theres not a great 9 option out there now to go for.

I think they will try force isak to stay and look at their psr issues later.

If they can get him back playing even for 3 months its better than no 9 at all.

Oh and for the record nunez should not have been sold before the replacement arrived.

Leaving us on 4 forwards is pretty much unacceptable if slot wont use young plauers.
