Agree, the tempo was off today - especially in the 2nd half. 1st half was actually OK,, we were comfortable but Parker had them on it in the 2nd half so fair play

 

I totally disagree, as anyone who's had any involvement in teenage mental health would know.

.football youth is different mate. I know. They are so so well looked after. It's not like 1980. It starts when they are 12. At 15 they are getting on blokes at the top level of maturity anyway.

 

I agree we didn’t move the ball fast enough

not having that down to effort like some more a tactical issue of not understanding how to play together to break that low block down yet

Totally mate, that's why I'd like 2 or 3 more signings just to give us the depth needed when other teams have Europe during the week

 

We weren't expecting Rigg to win the PL title from the start of the season tbf.

 

I think the teams in europe will struggle witn squad depth as much as we will. Do they concentrate on Europe or the league?

Can see a lot of teams panicking and spending a lot this next week

 

I'm sure Arsenal are not expecting him to play a major part in their title challenge but it's nice giving the lad experience when they are so far on top against Leeds

 

Arsenal aren't expecting Dowman to do that either tho

Theyll not throw him in unless they know he can handle it, it's about knowing the player and his family imo

 

So why are they playing him is such an important game?

 

Some of the teams in Europe have good squads but others really don't

We don't need to do too much tbh, if we can get 2/3 more in then we have a crackkng looking squad

If they have players they can bring in, for that job, why aren't they playing them.

Played in preseason under no pressure, did well, then brought on when 4-0 up at home. The lad wont be starting away at Liverpool anytime soon. Some of these kids are mentality monsters and world class coaches will know when its fine to play them. Well done to the lad, won a penalty on prem debut at 15, incredible achievement.
