We are in a good place with a good window so far. We have had a solid start. Today was no where near the standards that RLB or the players expect. It was well below infact. That will always illicit a big reaction on an online Sunderland forum with Sunderland fans. Obviously, we speak a little more loose at times and that's fine. It's venting, same as over celebrating. Some expecting us to batter Burnely today. Literally didn't have a shot on goal from the 4th minute.

We need to get a couple more in IMO. We need a experienced 9 and a CB. I would use mayneda as a winder / back up striker.

I was a little worried re Xakha today and even at times last week (in the minority) seems to get ran off loads. But we will be fine there.

I do challenge certain posters and people of higher authority (literally) as it's clear what they are doing and I find that unacceptable and actually void of their supposed role on the forum. That said, loads of good lads on here and I am looking forward to Brenford.

If that season ticket thing is still going I might have my brothers and Mrs on the go. So happy to sort and I am sure they will take a small reasonable fee for the tickets.

If you think we played "****" today is inflammatory you need to get a grip tbh mate.

    We played ****.

Its not that big a deal.

Maybe when we win people are out enjoying themselves and dont need to be on here. After we lose and only create 1.5 chances against a relegation rival they vent.

Hank that's what makes today so disappointing. Feel like we have to cash in when we can as there will inevitably be a humping at some point

I don't mind the odd post like that, I get it if it's over and over and over again but didn't think it was like that

As you said discussions have been good last hr or so, so probably best not to rehash iy

See I dont see us as being **** today, we were very good first half and unlucky second half.

Id happily discuss how we could improve and what needed to be better with anyone, but when we are ****, players are **** then what the point? There minds are made up

Round and round in circles it goes. Shall I mention who's liked your posts and commented on yours or is that deemed as childish as mentioning the mods?

2 very different ways of discussing the club and today, neither of them right, neither of them wrong, just different ways of expressing views and no common ground so best left

Thing is mate, throughout the club the word standards is shouted about all the time. From KLD, Speakman, RLB, the players. Thats the culture they're trying (and largely succeeding) to create. RLB and the staff will be going a lot harder than what we are saying on here, because they know the standards that have been set by these lads havent been met today. It happens, we arent going to win every game, we arent going to play well every game, its fine to criticise on here, the players wont see it and they dont need to, they'll know themselves when they didnt perform.

Sometimes we'll just get done, people slate Parker but the lad gets Burnley well organised, fair play to them.

When we lose or dont play well I just like to twist on here with other lads fans to make myself feel a bit better. Cant wait for Tuesday to see the new lads get minutes and next week for another corker atmosphere. We'll be fine, confident we'll stay up.

Same mate. That's absolutely the crack. Some people just need to get of the melt shelf and realize it's ok to say we played **** today. It's absolutely fine. Christ.

We did play **** today. Absolute facts.

‘playing ****’ is better than ‘being ****’, like Burnley.

The performance as a whole wasn't good enough, imo. Didn't create a proper chance since the 5th minute, or close to that.

We came out 2nd half powderpuff and conceded. We aren't set up to break teams down, we're set up to counter at pace. Burnley are basically our nemesis when it comes to style of play, especially when you concede first.

The whole club is on the up atm, and I believe, everyone on this forum feels that way. People see things differently, and that's perfectly fine, along as they go about it the correct way. I believe some have been targeted recently because they have been deemed negative. I dont agree with everything everyone says, but some seem adamant that they are correct, because they are positive, and condemn those that are negative.

Each to their own, tbh I'm not that arsed, we were ****/poor and need to be better. No need for the antagonist comments (not directed at you) tbh

I mean it in the nicest way but I don't care likes my posts on comments on them

I like to share my opinions on the club I love, if I feel they've played sh**e I'll say that (i love the word tbf) but I'll put some context as to why I feel like that - if folk like that then fair enough, if others don't then fair enough

I honestly don't want to come on here to argue about being too positive or too negative, we will all see the game differently and I respect that

As I said about the game we were below our standards but we have 2 games to put that right in the next 7 days. It's minor tweaks that need to be made, so not massively concerning

I would still like a couple players in but mentioned that for a while and the club will know that as well

That's twice I've seen this. I never once seen anyone reckon we would walk over Burnley. Yes people expected some kind of positive result against them but I didn't read we'd walk it. Can you name anyone who said we would?

Yeah a good few had us 02 or 03 winners today. I'm not be spending my time going through them or reading the comments but they are there if you would like too.

Even some at half time said they would drop off and we would improve.

    It was the opposite.

That's fine. Games happen like that.

    Way it is.
