Really poor today after a bright opening 30 mins. Very sloppy goals to give an away against a very limited opposition. Disappointing to lose Ballard again, don’t know how bad the injury is but may see us need to bring in 2 CB’s as well as the winger and centre forward. Might still need an additional midfielder. Onto Tuesday.
He was a small positive today for me, works his knackers off as well. I didn’t think him and Adingra off at the same time was the right move.
They both have plus points, talbi going back and forward, adingra going forward. Id suggest adingra ha s harder job as if he isnt going to track back ne needs to deliver more going forward.
Exactly, we are a team set up for the counter, I thought we were the better team in the first half and could have been 2 up. They caught us early and sat in more. Don't get me wrong I thought we were poor today, however I didn't think they'd be the push over a lot thought they would be. We'll get better results against better teams in the league. Not a happy clapper, just not writing the season off just yet
Good summary, Regarding venting, of course everyone is entitled to vent, but the tone of the vent and the attitude around the vent (i know best im an elite poster) gets people's back up. Then when called out to whinge about moderation or cliques, just make it worse. There's been a decent discussion this past hour on here, maybe some should read it as see how to discuss things
He will have known to expect it mate. I am not sure we were setup to play against one and I dont think his subs were helpful against it. I thought today he would habe brought Le Fee in from the start, we needed someone to pick the passes better in their half, to move them about, but we didnt. We will need a second way to play this season, one where we have reasonable possession. Has been a concern of mine for a while. One game is all it is, and he knows what went wrong (although saying a mistake and a counter is a bit too simplistic re the goals). I am sure he knows how to fix it. Some hard work on the training ground will go a long long way
You know, one of the songs is that you'd fight for Sunderland AFC, but how many people on here actually would?
I was supriaed how they set up, obviously rlb probably wasn't or shouldn't have been. I honestly through they would come after us
Well in typical Sunderland fashion weve all been brought back down to earth with a bump. Ive changed my mind about Seelt, hes not ready yet. Xhaka was poor unfortunately for his standards. Sadiki and Diarra were well off the pace. Mayenda should have buried that chance in the 1st half and then things might have been different. I love him, but he doesnt half know how to miss a sitter, and you end up getting punished at this level if you dont take them.
I get that, but i also feel there's people that provoke that as well by not wanting folk to say anything bad about the club No one overstepped the mark and as you said there's been some good discussions about ehat we could have done differently
Tone of posts makes a huge difference especially when it cant be heard. ****e, arse, disgrace all words used to describe games and players and hardly approachable. Its cool, people can vent, but if using inflammatory language then they have to expect retaliation. Plus the multiple.posys after a defeat compared to after a win aren't unnoticed.
