You not think talbi may be that player? He's getting more confident every game imoWe’ve built a hard working counter attacking team, we need a winger who can score from nothing in games like that

Agreed re the low block. Our fellow relegation contenders will notice this and I personally think we will face it more than we possibly expectThat low block, sit deep really knacks us.
Felt we just didnt have that movement today to get past it.
Not that I think we will face it much this season, but it needs a thought.
Maybe quicker crosses?
Yeah, I think we were poor, but probably because they sat in. They're probably the only team in the league that will do that to us so showed our weakness.Don’t think we were that poor to be honest. We lost so obviously not great. I just think the manner of the game exposed our current weaknesses We are building a good team and will take a few weeks to work things out on the pitch we have built at the back and midfield. But are seriously lacking at the top end where it matters I can see the team improving week on week but the lack of a ruthless forward who can create something out of nothing will hurt us. Mayenda and or Talbi score early on and it’s a different game.
Possibly, but thats a positive to take and one we need to work on over the coming weeksAgreed re the low block. Our fellow relegation contenders will notice this and I personally think we will face it more than we possibly expect
Oh Well.
Roll on next week.

I’d throw in a centre forward as well. Mayenda and Isidor as much as I really rate them. Don’t have that ruthless streak and selfish intent in the box Burnley centre half’s we’re not really under pressure todayWe’ve built a hard working counter attacking team, we need a winger who can score from nothing in games like that
This forum has everything. Reasoned debate people who are ridiculously optimistic irrational winging buggers Then there’s MontyNurse! He’s been in the medical cupboard again…

Been impressed and surprised with Talbi. He’s got better and better through pre season Still raw but a definite plus for me. However not sure he is the answer to our goal scoringYou not think talbi may be that player? He's getting more confident every game imo
Not a chance seelt was far worse than anyoneXhaka arguably our worst player today. Looked really slow, particularly for their 2nd goal. I think he's lost his man for the first too.
It's gonna be like this this year, highs and lows, best get used to it again, no need to go off the deep end.
so when Ballard does not play we are crap, yet how much spent in defence ? Frigging disaster this that was a must win game, but this is Sunderland we are talking about back to pre season form etc, so dread these other 18 away games we spent a fortune and lose yet drew there last season so how ? that striker we always needed most likely will not come either they will pay the price for this first Le Bris then Speakman, wolves and Leeds are must win games now. this is terrible because you don't expect this too happen
I like talbi a lot I agreeYou not think talbi may be that player? He's getting more confident every game imo

Goalscoring may not be his thing, but working uo and down the wing and across the front 3 will assists and goals.Been impressed and surprised with Talbi. He’s got better and better through pre season Still raw but a definite plus for me. However not sure he is the answer to our goal scoring
