I can honestly say I haven't looked at the Championship, or any other other divisions. Only League One. I will admit to looking at Leicester v Sheffield Wednesday, only to see if the game actually took place.
Only stevenage have a 100% record. Barnsley and Bradford, like us, remain unbeaten. Not sure how, but after 4 games, we have the fewest goals against. We'll do well to keep a clean sheet on Saturday.
As a slight aside...................... Which two clubs in League One have identical nicknames and both for the same reason?
OK guys - 10 points already on the board in August, so far that is, still with a couple of games to go before the end of the month. Last season, we beat Plymouth to get to get 8 points on the board - and that was on October 19th.
1 goal in 5 games is pretty impressive. Just watched the brief highlights, and Trott was instrumental in keeping it that way today. After a shaky 1st game, he's justified his signing. If any others brought in are of a similar calibre, it means BBM has a good eye. There's only been one shut out against us in 6 games as well.
At a loose end (can you help me with that Maskey?), so filling time. Trott looked to cover a lot of ground for a couple of saves today. Thought I'd see how tall he was. Wiki has him at 6'2". An issue levelled at Alnwick is he isn't big enough. Another Google and wiki has him down at, wait for it, 6'2".
Just suggesting it appears Trott has a longer arm span. Watching today & at Wimbledon Alnwick wouldn’t have got near the shots Trott did. It wasn’t the reason we went down last season but being frank and diplomatic with my language, our keepers weren’t the best.
