Oh well. Disappointing second half. We did lack imagination in the final third though. OaU though.
Fair play to Burnley - they deserved it on the basis they won almost every second ball and that gave them the edge.

Agreed, people are actually saying people will be revealing in a defeat, that's just bull. People are venting because they are unhappy but all the comments have remained about the match only. There's no digging out the club or anything like that, lots of fair comments about the game

The Mayenda chance changes everything if it goes in, that's the fine margins of PL football

 

I think he could end up being very useful for us, early days and disappointing to lose, but you can see the building blocks of a good season imo

 

We all want whats best for SAFC but people have differing views, no need for the point scoring imo.

I thought all the new lads struggled, it was a championship game and they couldn't face upto it imo.

Need to take this as a massive wake up call. All of our aways are going to be similar to this, we just need to dig in and grab points were we can.

 

I think we need to have a look at that next week. With the current 3, we're a very 'industrious' side which is possibly lacking creativity through the middle. Swap Le Fee for Sadiki and I think it might help that area a fair bit.

 

It has and it's the same 2 and 3 who literally can not wait backed up by the mods, especially one of them. Who took zero action previously. Agenda is there for all too see.

The funny thing is that everyone is pissed off with the result. Just half of the posters on here say so and the other half take their anger out on other posters rather than the team.

When people hear 90 mins it means the 90 mins of the match, I suspect you know that and are just trying to make something up to look like you weren't wrong

RLB got things wrong today, but that's easy to say in hindsight. I didn't like the subs today but I've explained why I didnt

We.lost, let's discuss where we went wrong as adults, is it wrong to suggest posts suggesting we are ****e or players are arse is wrong?

There were elements of today that were really positive, some not so. Adults dont "vent" they discuss.

 

Think it will be a good learning curve for RLB as well. Definitely got the subs wrong (easy to say in hindsight I know)

Intensity was missing today and midfield never really got going.

It will be topsy turvy all season.

 

I thought we did ok to be honest. We are building a good team and will learn from that. Burnley had little except a wry good low block against a team that’s struggling to find the keys in the final third. Think Ballard was a big miss Move on We will get better

 

And some will repeat the same criticisms time and time again to show how right they are
