Oh well, **** happens. That was poor, but they need to pick themselves up and do better next week.

Zero need for the I'm more postive/negative than you fan ****e today. Or where were you last week stuff (probably on the piss enjoying themselves)

We really weren't very good as soon as Ballard went off / Mayenda missed that sitter.

    Massive wake up call.

Think the new lads struggled especially Xhaka.

Shake it off and move on. It's going to be a struggle 17th is a massive result at the end of the season.

Xhaka arguably our worst player today. Looked really slow, particularly for their 2nd goal. I think he's lost his man for the first too.

It's gonna be like this this year, highs and lows, best get used to it again, no need to go off the deep end.

I know he scored last week but misses the easier chances

I know that, we were really poor across the board, but when a sitter falls to you when we don’t create loads as it is it needs to go in. 1-0 would have been a different game. It Burnley deserved that today, onto next week

Yeah. We didn't have a shot in 90 mins. That's literally what happened. We have a shot in the 4th minute and I posted on the 95th minute.

    That's 91 minutes.

Bad day at the office for a lot of those on the pitch today and 1 shot on target in 100 minutes of football isn’t going to get you a positive result but it’s just one game and there’ll be a lot of highs and lows before the season is out .

clear as day though we need at least a competent striker , a CB and a winger before the window closes

    Once is never enough …

… it’ll be repeated like all the ‘you can never regain momentum’ posts, before the playoffs.

It'll be different (I hope) when we can bring on a proper winger instead of a central midfielder and whatever Roberts is. First half was fine, we pinned their fullbacks in with our pace out wide, Adingra and Talbi weren't at their best today but they offered a whole lot more than ELF and Roberts.

Spot on mate, the point scoring has started already

We will learn from this, that's the type of squad we have - maybe they thought it would be easy given how well we did last week

Still feel we are at least 2 players short, but I'd of said that even if we won 5 nil today

Poor performance but we wont let it define our season

Try and enjoy the rest of your weekends fellas, we have 2 home games next week to look forward too

I thought Talbi was good first half, put a shift in going forward and back

Aye season was always gonna be a rough ride and spiky.

It’s one game. We can still have 6 from 9 next week and every one of us would have snapped that hand off.

I love Sadiki but we need to have Enzo in there.

Good slap in the face for the lads and an early mentality test.

I would take 17th right now, seem a load of people overconfident socials. Still a couple short, hopefully that gets sorted by next week. Would have taken 3 points out the first two, just makes our home games massive. Can’t wait for Saturday already

We were doing fine until Ballard went off.

    Xhaka was disappointing today.

    Hume was our best player.

I love this forum but this is where I loose interest in the threads. A bit of criticism (and let’s be honest the majority will think it’s deserved today) and you get the typical ‘fans will be happy we lost’ or we don’t back the club etc. can end up ruining actual debate. I love this club, manager, owner, players but today in the second half was way below standard, a standard they’ve set themselves

Yeah so did I. Really liked when he would drift to the left to link with Adingra. Missed that in the 36 minutes with ELF and Roberts
