trying to think of some positives but might take a while...I think the keeper is a big thing to sort out - if defenders have no confidence in the fella it all falls apart - maybe clutching at straws a bit I know
Went to Stratford Town intending to have one pint but ended up having 4 as the incessant pinging from my phone drove me back to the bar. Now I’m going home to drink wine. Stratford Town 1 Bishops Stortford 2. Good game.
Just home from the office in time for Richard Keyes to start gloating on BeinSports Scotch being opened

Remember when we brought Warnock in first time with a handful of games to keep us up? He didn't focus on scoring, he tightened us up at the back and we stopped shipping goals and survived Someone - Steve F*****g Bould I guess - needs to shut the bloody door, we'll never score more than we concede like this
Is that the vanity project? Why do businessmen think they know how to make a football team play successfully?
If you are going to sell a player, Nardi for example, because of his touted market value, shouldn't he be in the shop window?
There was so much wrong with this game. Shocking defensive play with huge gaps where Cov players just moved into and played without challenge. Walsh looked very nervous and shell shocked by half time. We should have brought Nardi on. Why do we still make ‘progressive’ passes that then go behind the player? You immediately lose 3-4 seconds and are closed down quicker. This has been going on for three seasons now. A new low today I’m afraid. You have to worry about this squad as they seem highly fragile to adversity. Bring out the guts, determination and pride at least. We need to see some gelling pretty ****ing quick and some points on the board. It’s getting messier by the week.
He was on the bench today, only got 15 minutes. I hope he’s not booed if he plays. His sale let us get Kone who is a much better player. Shame he’s surrounded by ****.
Missed everything due to jet lag- slept through the lot (fortunately). Just picked up my phone it’s 3am) and started looking at ALL the BBC alerts. Moved quickly to the family WhatsApp group where there were as many new messages relating to one of my brother-in-law’s involvement in a crash on Friday on the M4. He’s in hospital in Cardiff being monitored - he has spleen and liver damage and looks like he went 10 rounds with Mike Tyson. He has no recall of the crash (yet) and is waiting to find out if surgery is required. Have read all I needed to about the the “match” on here. Thank you all. There has to be a reaction somewhere… the inept must be held to account, those who went should be compensated (or medicated). I hope this is as low as it goes…
